About

I’ve lived inside the system long enough to understand how to work around it.

Over 20 years of finance experience, a firsthand education in what it actually takes to survive and rebuild when everything falls apart at once, and a way of living that proved the principles work.

My background is in accounting and financial analysis. I spent years working inside the financial system, tracking money, watching how it moves, and understanding the mechanics that most people are never taught. That professional foundation gives this work a framework most personal finance writers simply don’t have.

But the real education came from lived experience. I have navigated debt, income collapse, and major life disruption, all at the same time. I did not read about financial hardship from a distance. I worked through it, made decisions under real pressure, and rebuilt from the ground up. That is what I write from.

The advice here is not built around any particular lifestyle. It works whether you are in a city apartment, a house in the suburbs, an RV, a van, a tiny home, or anywhere else. How you live is your choice. What this site focuses on is how money actually works, how the system is structured, and what genuinely moves the needle regardless of where or how you live.

What I cover sits at the intersection of personal finance, economic literacy, and practical independence. How the system is structured and why it works the way it does. What genuinely helps people in debt or financial stress and what is just noise. How understanding your real costs and dependencies creates financial flexibility that budgeting alone cannot.

This is for people who want to understand what they are actually dealing with, not just tips, but the fuller picture. Whether you are trying to get out of debt, stabilize after a financial crisis, or start thinking differently about how you spend and live, the work here is grounded in real experience, professional knowledge, and more than 20 years of putting it into practice.
